Please submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice document file format. The text should be single-spaced with a 12-point font. Please use line and page numbers.
An abstract up to 200 words and a list of up to 5 keywords (separated by a semicolon) should be provided. The letter (incl. abstract) should have around 3500-4500 words.
All the e-mail addresses of the authors sould be given at the beginning of the manuscript.
If there exists a conflict of interest, it should be clearly stated in a dedicated section at the end of the manuscript.
In addition, please submit a cover figure that will appear in the table of contents (to be pasted in the manuscript). This figure should have 3:2 aspect ratio (landscape-oriented).
Figures
Please place all the figures, illustrations and tables within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
When possible, the graphs should be pasted as enhanced metafile pictures.The text on the figures should be large enough to be readable when the figure is formatted to the width of 8 cm (single column) or 16 cm (double column). The minimum text size is e.g. Arial 7 pt or Calibri 7 pt.
RILEM Technical Letters is an open access journal. In order to avoid conflicts of interests with other publishers, please do not reproduce figures from other publications.
Equations
Please use designated tool for the equations. The equations should be editable in the document.
Authorship statement (CRediT)
Please place the authorship statement at the end of your manuscript (before the References Section). The authorship statement should be in accordance with the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) format. The roles that can be assigned to each of the coauthors are listed in the table below. Multiple roles can be assigned to each author, and multiple authors can contribute to the same role. Degree of contribution can be optionally specified (lead, equal, supporting)
Example:
John Firstauthor: Conceptualization, Writing - original draft.
Adam Secondauthor: Investigation, Writing - review and editing.
